Treasure Hunting April 16

I hit the beach around 4pm for the 7pm low tide which never happened because of the high wind. Temp was around 55 and wind just about blew you down. There were not many people on the beach and the ones that were there were cold. I did manage to find one 18K ring 2.4 grams

April 12

It has been over a month since I have last bloged any thing. Well April has been pretty good to me. April 4 I found this really nice 14k Necklace 14k 30" long and weighs 59.8 grams.


Went back out again on Wednesday April 8 Weather was wicked and I got soaked but I did manage to snag a nice mans class ring and a set of gold grills.




Then on Sunday April 12 I met Max at the beach and I found a set of bangle bracelets and some clad. Also ran into sharkhunter

Wow March is here already 3-7-09

Well the weather warmed up some so I headed for the beach early yesterday morning. Arrived around 7:00am for the 9:30 low tide.I think I should have stayed in bed Beach is still sanded in bad. Temp was around 40 this morning with a slight breeze blowing out of the south when I first got there but after about hour and half it started picking up and the waves started crashing ashore. Here is a quick spin

Feb 21

Weather was kind of nice low 40ties and sunny so I decided to hit a couple parks I have not been to for a while. Found quite a few targets $4.86 in clad and a JUNK ring it was a nitro for sure.

Feb 20

Wow it has been a week since I last posted. I have been very busy with the American Legion and the Americanism program teaching the first graders about the American Flag and the Pledge. Weather was pretty cool today 38 but I went out for a while anyhow. Did not find a whole lot but did manage a button and some bullets

Another beautiful day in Va. Had a doctor appointment early this morning but was able to get out for about 3 hours.Found a couple bullets,buttons,and a 1864 IH Here are a couple pictures

Feb 12 Got a little silver today

Well I had a very busy day today but managed 2 hours late this afternoon. First target when I got in the field was a 1941 Quarter so that made my day right off the bat. Weather was beautiful again today 69 and very windy but it felt good. Found few more buttons and some bullets here is a few pictures

Weather was great today 73f and a bit windy but it was warm enough that it did not matter.Found another IH today and a couple buttons. Here is a couple pictures

Another day at the beach

Temp was 70 today so I headed down to the beach. Just as soon as I could see the beach I knew that this was not going to be a good day,but this is one I will remember because I only found 3 pennies and a nut.I can hardly wait till summer is back. Here are a couple pictures
